Woods Lake Trail

TIME: 2.5 to 3 hours to Navajo Lake

DISTANCE: Approximately 5 miles from Woods Lake to Navajo Lake

ELEVATION GAIN: About 2,500 feet altogether, out and back

MAXIMUM ELEVATION: 11,560 feet on the ridge, approximately 1 mile before Navajo Lake

DIFFICULTY: Moderately difficult

TRAILHEAD: Drive down valley to Fall Creek Road #621, and continue to where the pavement ends. The drive is lovely along the cascading creek. Head right at the Y and continue toward the state campground. The trailhead is north of Woods Lake, on the left of the picnic area.
