Telluride’s flowers are already in full bloom—note the shoulder-high vegetation on the Sneffels Highline trail in the photo. Typically you need to wait until late July or August to hike amid flowers that are as tall as you, getting that fairytale feeling of being tiny in a big, wide forest. But thanks to an unusually warm and dry spring (that has forced the cancellation of the Fourth of July fireworks) we are having an early summer peak. So get out there and enjoy it! And let us know how your hike is on our new community forum.
